Bharat Tex 2026 Concludes in New Delhi, Strengthening India’s Position as Global Textile Manufacturing Hub
: Bharat Tex 2026 concluded in New Delhi with over 1,600 exhibitors, 11,000 buyers and participation from 138 countries. The global textile event strengthened India’s position in manufacturing, sourcing, innovation and investment while generating major business meetings and investment commitments exceeding 14,300 crore rupees.
The four-day event was organised to strengthen international partnerships, encourage trade and investment, and present the complete textile value chain on a single platform. Exhibitors, buyers, investors, policymakers and industry stakeholders from India and overseas participated in the event, reflecting increasing global confidence in India’s textile industry.
Bharat Tex 2026 featured more than 1,600 exhibitors and over 11,000 buyers, including more than 6,000 international buyers, with participation from 138 countries. The event also facilitated more than 28,000 business-to-business meetings, over 100 government-to-government and business-to-government interactions, and generated investment commitments exceeding 14,300 crore rupees.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Chairman of the Bharat Tex Trade Federation Narendra Kumar Goenka said Bharat Tex 2026 witnessed enthusiastic participation from industry leaders, exhibitors and global buyers.
Goenka stated that the event brought together the entire textile value chain, covering fibre, yarn, fabrics, apparel and home furnishings. He added that buyers from around 130 countries attended the event, highlighting the growing international recognition of Bharat Tex.
Co-Chairman of the organising committee, Bhadresh M Dodhia, said the event attracted around 15 lakh visitors and more than 11,000 buyers, including nearly 6,000 international buyers from 138 countries. He further stated that nearly 70 per cent of exhibitors were MSMEs, while 95 first-time exporters participated in the event this year.
The successful conclusion of Bharat Tex 2026 marks a significant milestone for India’s textile sector, showcasing the country’s manufacturing strength, export potential and ability to attract global partnerships, investments and innovation across the complete textile ecosystem.
