Rajasthan Assembly Completes 75 Years, Amrit Mahotsav Celebrates Democratic Legacy and Public Service
Rajasthan Assembly celebrates 75 years with Amrit Mahotsav as Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma highlights the state’s democratic heritage, contributions of current and former legislators, role of Lok Sabha Speaker Birla, and the importance of public representatives in strengthening democracy and Rajasthan’s development journey.
The Chief Minister said that the occasion provided a unique opportunity to witness the presence of current Assembly members, former members, Members of Parliament and former Members of Parliament together on one platform. He highlighted that the land of Rajasthan has been the birthplace of legendary personalities such as Maharana Pratap, Pannadhay, Surajmal and Amrita Devi.
Bhajanlal Sharma stated that the 75-year journey of the Rajasthan Assembly represents the glorious heritage of democracy and reflects the state’s strong democratic traditions. He described the day as a fortunate occasion for everyone as current and former legislators, former Assembly Speakers, former Deputy Speakers and other public representatives gathered together for the historic event.
The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to Assembly Speaker Devnani for creating an opportunity where representatives from different periods of Rajasthan’s legislative history could come together. He said that both the old and new Assembly buildings have witnessed public representatives presenting their arguments, ideas and issues of public interest, making significant contributions to the development of the state.
He further stated that representatives from all political parties have played an important role in strengthening democratic traditions. The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to all former and current legislators who have contributed towards the development of Rajasthan and worked for public welfare.
The Amrit Mahotsav marking 75 years of the Rajasthan Assembly stands as a tribute to the state’s democratic evolution, legislative contributions and the collective efforts of public representatives who have shaped Rajasthan’s progress through decades of service and commitment.
