Two UP Women Arrested in Tiger Shroff Car Firing Case Over Alleged Arms Supply
Delhi Police has arrested two women from Uttar Pradesh in the Tiger Shroff car firing case in Mumbai. Investigators suspect they transported weapons by train, while Radha’s family has claimed she was falsely implicated.
Radha, from Sitapur, and Babita, from Azamgarh, are among the five accused arrested in the case. Mumbai Police has alleged that the attack was carried out at the direction of Anil Pandit, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
According to Delhi Police, two suspects travelled to Amritsar to obtain the weapons. The two women allegedly transported the weapons to Mumbai by train and handed them over to the attackers.
Along with Radha and Babita, two men identified as Kunal and Sumit have also been arrested. The fifth accused allegedly remained in Mumbai to provide logistical support to the attackers.
Meanwhile, Radha’s family in Sitapur has claimed that she is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the case. Her mother, Maina Devi, said Radha had gone to Haryana about a year ago in search of employment. There, she was working at a factory and earning a monthly salary of Rs 15,000.
Radha married Sunil, a local resident, in 2015, and the couple has a son. Sunil said Radha had left her matrimonial home around 2018, after which he remarried. He added that he had not been in contact with Radha for several years.
The investigation is examining the alleged roles of the five accused, including the suspected transportation of weapons and the provision of logistical assistance in connection with the firing incident involving Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai.
