Tiger Shroff Resumes ‘Lag Ja Gale’ Shoot Two Days After Juhu Firing Incident
Tiger Shroff resumes shooting for ‘Lag Ja Gale’ on October 20, two days after the Juhu firing incident in Mumbai. As the actor returns to work, police continue investigating the attack and alleged weapons supply network.
‘Lag Ja Gale’ is a romantic-action film in which Tiger will share screen space with Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya for the first time. Despite the incident, the actor has resumed filming to fulfil his professional commitments.
The film is being produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions banner and directed by Raj Mehta, who has previously directed films such as ‘Good Newwz’, ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ and ‘Selfiee’. The film is reportedly expected to arrive in theatres in May 2027, although an official release date has not yet been announced.
The development comes two days after the firing incident on October 18. According to reports, Tiger was leaving a football club in Mumbai at around 7 pm when the attack took place. Videos of the incident showed the attackers firing at his car from close range. Tiger escaped unharmed, but his driver and a passerby sustained injuries.
According to reports, the accused involved in the firing told investigators that they had previously conducted reconnaissance of Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar. However, they changed their plan because of the high level of security surrounding the actors.
A fourth young man was also allegedly involved with the accused but reportedly fled from a hotel the night before the attack on the pretext of smoking a cigarette.
So far, six people have been arrested in connection with the firing case, according to the information provided. Initially, the police arrested Hrithik alias Roshan from Bihar, Rehan from Haryana and a minor from Kota. Rehan’s friends Sameer and Bony alias Raunak are also in police custody.
In a subsequent development, Delhi Police arrested Kunal, Sumit, Radha and Babita on allegations of involvement in supplying weapons. Radha and Babita were apprehended at New Delhi Railway Station, while Kunal and Sumit were taken into custody from Sonipat.
Mumbai Police has secured three days of transit remand for all four individuals for questioning. The investigation into the firing incident continues as Tiger resumes shooting for ‘Lag Ja Gale’ amid the ongoing police action.
