According to local residents, the accused had allegedly been troubling female students in the area for a long time. University Police Station Inspector Ravindra Kumar said the viral video has come to the notice of the police and is currently under investigation. He stated that no written complaint has been submitted to the police station by either party so far.

Authorities added that appropriate legal action will be taken after verifying all the facts surrounding the incident.
