Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi Concludes India Visit After Successful Bilateral Summit

Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi concluded her successful India visit after participating in the 16th India-Japan Annual Summit in New Delhi. Minister of State Dr Jitendra Singh saw her off as the External Affairs Ministry highlighted the commitment of both countries to strengthen their strategic partnership and promote peace, prosperity, and stability in the Indo-Pacific and beyond.

 

Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi departed from India on Friday after concluding her highly successful official visit, during which she participated in the 16th India-Japan Annual Summit in New Delhi. Her visit marked another significant step in strengthening the strategic partnership between India and Japan across key areas of mutual interest.

Minister of State Dr Jitendra Singh saw Prime Minister Takaichi off at the time of her departure, underscoring the importance attached to the high-level bilateral engagement. During her stay in India, Prime Minister Takaichi attended the 16th India-Japan Annual Summit in the national capital, where both nations reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation and deepening their long-standing partnership.

In a social media post, the External Affairs Ministry stated that the visit reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to nurture a partnership that is pivotal to the shared growth and prosperity of India and Japan. The ministry also said that the bilateral relationship remains an important anchor for promoting peace, prosperity, and stability across the Indo-Pacific region and beyond.
