Manipal University Jaipur to Welcome New Students with Three-Day Orientation Programme from July 16
Manipal University Jaipur has announced its three-day Orientation Programme for undergraduate and postgraduate students admitted for the 2026–27 academic session from July 16 to 18. The programme will welcome more than 15,000 students, parents, and guardians while introducing them to academics, campus life, innovation, student support services, and career development opportunities.
The Orientation Programme has been designed to familiarise students with the university's academic environment, campus infrastructure, student support services, academic regulations, research and innovation ecosystem, and the diverse opportunities available for their overall academic and personal development.
The university stated that individual orientation schedules will be shared with newly admitted students through email by the Directorate of Admissions. A detailed schedule for different faculties and academic disciplines will also be made available through official university communication.
Manipal University Jaipur is expecting a footfall of more than 15,000 people during the Orientation Programme, including students, parents, and guardians from all States and Union Territories of India, along with several international students. The large and diverse participation reflects the institution's expanding national and global reputation as a multidisciplinary centre of higher education.
The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes through its four academic faculties: Science, Technology and Architecture; Management, Commerce and Arts; Law; and Health Sciences. Its academic portfolio covers engineering, architecture, management, law, journalism, design, humanities, psychology, commerce, and basic sciences, with programmes aligned to industry requirements while promoting innovation, critical thinking, and experiential learning.
Announcing the Orientation Programme, Dr. Niti Nipun Sharma, President of Manipal University Jaipur, said that the programme represents the first step in every student's transformative journey at the university. She stated that it has been designed to ensure students feel welcomed, informed, and inspired as they begin a new phase of their academic lives. She added that the university looks forward to welcoming students to its vibrant campus, where they will have opportunities to learn, innovate, discover their potential, and build lifelong friendships, while extending her best wishes to every student and their family joining the MUJ community.
The three-day programme will feature interactions with university leadership, faculty members, and student support teams. It will also include dedicated sessions covering academics, campus life, innovation, career development, student clubs, and other initiatives that contribute to the university's holistic learning environment.
With preparations underway across the campus, Manipal University Jaipur is set to welcome its newest batch of students through a comprehensive orientation initiative aimed at laying a strong foundation for academic excellence, personal growth, and long-term professional success.
