The launch marks a significant expansion of Intex's washing machine portfolio, complementing its existing range of semi-automatic washing machines available across multiple capacities. With the introduction of fully automatic models, the company aims to address the diverse preferences and household requirements of consumers across urban and semi-urban markets.
The newly introduced range includes the metal body models FA80MGGL (8 kg, Grey) and FA10MBGL (10 kg, Black), along with the plastic body models FA80PBGL (8 kg, Black) and FA90PGGL (9 kg, Grey). The washing machines have been developed to make household chores more efficient through intelligent automation and user-friendly functionality.
Each model features 10 intelligent wash programs, including Quick Wash, Strong Wash, Soak Wash, Air Dry, Spin Only, and Clean Bucket, allowing users to select wash cycles according to different fabric types and laundry requirements. The machines also feature One Touch operation for effortless usability and Fuzzy Logic technology, which automatically adjusts water levels and wash parameters based on the size of the laundry load.
Commenting on the launch, Keshav Bansal, Director of Intex Technologies, said that laundry remains a daily household task in India that requires considerable time, water, and effort. He stated that washing requirements vary widely, from handling large weekly loads and delicate fabrics to operating under changing water conditions and extended usage. According to him, the company's new fully automatic washing machine range has been designed around these practical challenges. He added that features such as intelligent wash programs, Fuzzy Logic technology, and Thermal Overload Protection have been thoughtfully integrated to deliver greater convenience, safety, and peace of mind. He further stated that today's consumers place greater importance on value and long-term durability rather than price alone, and the new range has been developed to meet those expectations.
The washing machines are equipped with a 700 RPM spin speed and Air Dry technology to reduce moisture retention and accelerate the drying process. Additional features include a stainless steel inner drum for enhanced fabric protection, a Magic Filter to capture lint and residue, an LED display, child lock, delay wash function, and automatic imbalance detection and correction for smoother operation.
The metal body variants are fitted with an anti-corrosive, rust-free exterior for improved durability, while all models feature a hydraulic toughened glass lid that enhances strength, convenience, and ease of operation. Both the metal and plastic body models also incorporate Thermal Overload Protection Technology, which automatically shuts down the machine if the motor temperature exceeds 135 degrees Celsius, improving operational safety while extending motor life.
Intex Technologies is offering an 11-year warranty on the wash motor across the new fully automatic washing machine range, reinforcing its commitment to product reliability and long-term consumer confidence. Engineered for efficient operation with low water consumption, the new lineup combines intelligent technology, durability, and practical convenience to meet the evolving laundry needs of modern Indian households while strengthening the company's presence in the consumer durables segment.
