Jaipur Municipal Corporation Official Caught in Major Anti-Corruption Bureau Bribery Trap Over Land Title Approval
Jaipur Municipal Corporation witnessed another major Anti-Corruption Bureau operation after sanitation supervisor Ram Singh was caught allegedly accepting a Rs 50,000 bribe. Officials said he had demanded Rs 200,000 for processing a land title certificate. The operation was conducted under the supervision of senior Anti-Corruption Bureau officers.
According to the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Ram Singh had allegedly demanded a total bribe of Rs 200,000 from the complainant for facilitating the issuance of a land title certificate. Acting on the complaint, the bureau laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed while accepting Rs 50,000 as part of the illegal payment.
The operation was executed by Additional Superintendent of Police Gyan Prakash Naval. The action was carried out under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General Om Prakash Meena. The Anti-Corruption Bureau stated that the operation was conducted under the directions of Director General Govind Gupta and Additional Director General Smita Shrivastava.
The latest operation highlights the Anti-Corruption Bureau's continued action against alleged bribery within the Jaipur Municipal Corporation. The successful trap underscores the agency's ongoing efforts to curb corruption in public offices and ensure accountability in the delivery of government services.
