Bengaluru Police Register FIR Against Daycare Caregivers Over Alleged Abuse of Toddlers at Capgemini Campus
Bengaluru Police have registered an FIR against five caregivers at the Capgemini campus daycare in Brookefield after alleged abuse of toddlers was captured in footage recorded by a former staff member. The facility has been temporarily closed as police investigate charges of child cruelty and criminal intimidation, raising serious concerns over childcare safety.
According to the information available, the video surfaced on June 25 and was reportedly recorded by a former staff member. Following the release of the footage, Bengaluru Police inspected the daycare facility, issued notices, and initiated legal proceedings against the five caregivers. The accused have been booked on charges of child cruelty and criminal intimidation.
As part of the investigation, police are preparing to interrogate the accused caregivers while also contacting parents to determine whether their children displayed any signs of abuse or mistreatment. The investigation is expected to examine the allegations in detail and establish the circumstances surrounding the reported incidents.

In response to the case, Capgemini has temporarily closed the daycare facility operating within its Brookefield campus and stated that it will fully cooperate with the ongoing police investigation. The company's decision comes as authorities continue their inquiry into the allegations.
