LedgerPe Labs and Rachana Rautray to Host Cross-Border Payments Panel in Mumbai Ahead of Devcon 2026
LedgerPe Labs and Chambers of Rachana Rautray will host Money in Motion in Mumbai on October 30, ahead of Devcon 2026, bringing industry experts together to discuss digital assets, cross-border payments, regulatory challenges and India-UAE payment corridors.
Titled “Money in Motion: The Future of Cross-Border Payments,” the event will bring together professionals from the financial, legal, technology, and investment sectors to discuss developments in cross-border payments and the role of digital assets in international transactions.
Scheduled just ahead of Devcon 8, which will bring the global Ethereum community to Mumbai in early November, the event comes as India’s involvement in digital assets and blockchain technology draws attention.
As digital assets become increasingly relevant to international payments, businesses continue to face questions surrounding regulation, banking relationships, compliance, and practical implementation. The discussion will examine these issues from different industry perspectives, addressing both the opportunities and the challenges involved in moving money across borders.
The panel will feature Dhananjay Joshi, Founder and CEO of LedgerPe; Rachana Rautray, Founder of Chambers of Rachana Rautray; Manhar Garegrat, Senior Vice President, India & Global Partnerships at Liminal Custody; and Sneha Shivgunde, Incubation Manager at Spotlight Strategic Partners.
Bringing together expertise in payment technology, legal and regulatory advisory, digital asset custody, and startup incubation, the panel will focus on the practical considerations involved in building and operating cross-border payment systems. It will also examine the challenges businesses encounter when navigating different regulatory and financial environments.
Key discussion areas will include regulatory developments, payment infrastructure, the role of digital assets in cross-border transactions, and investment opportunities in the sector. Participants will also discuss international payment corridors, including India and the UAE, and the considerations involved in operating across multiple jurisdictions.
With Mumbai hosting several industry gatherings around Devcon, Money in Motion aims to provide founders, investors, legal professionals, and financial services participants with an opportunity to exchange views on the future of cross-border payments. The discussion will explore what needs to change to make international money transfers more efficient, reliable, and accessible.
The event is scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM IST at Spotlight Strategic Partners in Andheri East, Mumbai. The evening will feature a panel discussion followed by a networking session, giving attendees an opportunity to connect with professionals across the financial technology ecosystem.
