Diwali 2026: Mumbai-Patna Trains Face Long Waiting Lists, No Room from November 3–7

Diwali 2026 train bookings from Mumbai to Patna are witnessing heavy demand, with long waiting lists and no-room status in several trains from November 3 to 7. Check the booking status of major services before planning your journey.

Travel from Mumbai to Patna during Diwali 2026 could become a major challenge for passengers, with regular trains witnessing heavy booking demand and seats becoming increasingly difficult to secure. With Diwali falling on November 8, 2026, which is a Sunday, the movement of passengers is expected to begin well in advance.

Reservations on regular trains are already facing a rush, with seats in almost all trains running close to full capacity. The situation has intensified the scramble for confirmed tickets, particularly for passengers planning to travel from Mumbai to Patna in Bihar.

With train reservations becoming increasingly difficult during the Diwali period, here is a look at the booking status of trains operating from Mumbai to Patna to help passengers plan their journeys.

The Patliputra Express and CSMT–Patna Superfast Express (22360) are also showing a ‘No Room’ status, indicating that tickets are no longer available for booking in the affected classes.

With Diwali falling on November 8, the heavy demand for Mumbai–Patna train services and the long waiting lists reported for November 3–7 could make securing a confirmed reservation difficult for passengers planning to travel during the festive period.
