A domestic dispute in Mumbai's Ghatkopar ended in the death of a nine-month-old boy after his father allegedly threw him off a skywalk near the railway station. The infant, identified as Aarav, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Sion Hospital. Police have invoked murder-related charges against the arrested accused and are continuing their investigation.

The incident took place on Sunday, October 25, at around 8:15 pm, according to information received from Ghatkopar Police Station.

According to the police, Aarti Jafar Sheikh was present with her nine-month-old son Aarav on the skywalk outside Ghatkopar railway station when her husband, Jafar Sheikh, arrived. A dispute over a domestic matter broke out between the couple.
