The main venue for the interaction was set up at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar, where participants took the Nasha Mukt pledge and keenly followed the Prime Minister’s address.
Later, interactive sessions were held with known sports personalities from Kashmir, who shared their experiences and success stories with the students. They spoke about their sporting journeys, challenges and achievements to encourage students to take up sports.
The participants appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to encourage the younger generation to take up sports and pursue sporting careers. They said such initiatives motivate young people to become sportspersons capable of competing at national and international levels.
The participation across all 10 districts of Kashmir and the interactions with sports personalities provided students an opportunity to hear directly about sporting journeys, challenges and achievements while reinforcing the message of pursuing sports as a career.
