Donald Trump Shares AI-Generated “Dr Trump” Video Mocking Critics and Promoting Satirical “TDS Treatment” on Truth Social

US President Donald Trump shared an AI-generated “Dr Trump” video on Truth Social depicting a satirical treatment for “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” The clip features AI-generated public figures and mock medical claims, followed by a fictional prescription, amid growing debate over AI use in political communication and misinformation concerns.

US President Donald Trump has shared an AI-generated video on his social media platform Truth Social, portraying himself as “Dr Trump” and presenting a satirical treatment for what he describes as “Trump Derangement Syndrome” (TDS), a term he frequently uses to criticize his political opponents and media detractors.

According to ANI, the 90-second video was posted on Thursday and placed between two official videos showcasing his administration’s achievements and the acquisition of a presidential aircraft from Qatar. In the clip, Trump appears in a white lab coat and introduces himself as “Dr Trump,” claiming to offer a treatment plan for individuals allegedly affected by TDS.

The video opens with Trump stating, “Have you or someone you know been diagnosed with TDS? The symptoms can be relentless. Fortunately, I’m Dr. Trump, and I have a treatment plan. Let’s hear what some of my patients have to say.” The sequence then transitions to AI-generated depictions of several well-known public figures who have previously criticized Trump.

The digitally created figures include actors Robert De Niro, Julia Roberts, Edward Norton, and John Leguizamo, along with television personalities Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O’Donnell, all shown as endorsing the fictional treatment. One AI-generated “patient” is heard saying, “I have been suffering for over a decade. And after listening to Dr Trump, I can see some results. Man, I’ve been suffering for years.”
