Amit Shah Highlights 12 Years of National Security Transformation Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said India has transformed into a strong and secure nation during the 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He highlighted Surgical Strikes, Air Strikes, Operation Sindoor, the abrogation of Article 370, efforts against Naxalism, and security initiatives in the Northeast as key milestones.
In a post on social media, Mr Shah stated that the country has been rebuilt as a bastion of security that safeguards its people and delivers a powerful response to its adversaries. He emphasized that the government’s approach to national security has demonstrated unwavering determination and strength across multiple fronts.
Highlighting key measures undertaken during the past decade, the Home Minister pointed to decisive military actions against hostile elements across the border, including Surgical Strikes, Air Strikes, and Operation Sindoor. He said these operations reflected India’s readiness to respond firmly to external threats and defend its sovereignty.
Mr Shah also referred to the abrogation of Article 370, describing it as a significant step in strengthening national integration and security. He further highlighted the government’s efforts to eliminate Naxalism and enhance internal stability across the country.
The Home Minister noted that internal security has been reinforced through more than 12 peace accords and agreements in the Northeast, which have contributed to greater stability and development in the region. According to him, these initiatives demonstrate the government’s comprehensive approach to addressing long-standing security challenges.
Concluding his remarks, Mr Shah said that India’s achievements in national security over the last 12 years have set examples for the world to admire, reflecting the nation’s resolute commitment to protecting its interests, strengthening internal stability, and ensuring the safety of its citizens.
