Crizac Invests in ForeignAdmits to Expand AI-Powered Student Mobility and Financing Solutions

Crizac Limited has announced a strategic investment in ForeignAdmits, an AI-driven student mobility platform operated by Edument Consultancy Private Limited. The deal expands Crizac's capabilities in education financing, visa preparation, and international student recruitment while integrating award-winning technologies such as LoanMonk and VisaMonk into its growing global ecosystem.

In a significant move aimed at strengthening India's international student mobility ecosystem, Crizac Limited, one of the country's leading technology-driven international student mobility platforms, has announced a strategic investment in Edument Consultancy Private Limited, the operator of ForeignAdmits. The investment marks a major step in Crizac's transformation into a technology-led, full-stack student mobility platform with expanded capabilities in artificial intelligence-powered financing and visa solutions.

The investment has been structured through Compulsorily Convertible Debentures (CCDs) and Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS). Through this transaction, Crizac aims to enhance its ability to support students and counselling partners during the most critical phases of the study-abroad journey, including destination selection, education financing, and visa preparation. All these services will be supported by AI-enabled technologies designed to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.

ForeignAdmits will continue to operate independently under its existing brand identity and management structure. The arrangement is intended to preserve the organisation's agility and student-focused approach while enabling greater integration with Crizac's broader platform and global network.

Crizac has established itself as a major player in international student recruitment by connecting a worldwide network of counselling partners with more than 400 educational institutions across the United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. The investment in ForeignAdmits represents the company's next phase of growth, bringing direct-to-student AI-powered solutions in financing and visa preparation into its expanding ecosystem.

ForeignAdmits contributes a proprietary and award-winning technology infrastructure to the partnership. The system has completed more than 80,000 assessments through partnerships with over 17 lending institutions, enabling students to understand their financing options before applying to universities.

Commenting on the development, Dr. Vikash Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of Crizac Limited, said the company has consistently focused on staying ahead of evolving student and counselling partner requirements. He stated that ForeignAdmits brings advanced AI-enabled capabilities in financing and visa services which, when combined with Crizac's institutional reach, create an integrated platform capable of setting new industry benchmarks.

As part of the transaction, Nikhil Jain, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ForeignAdmits, will join Crizac's senior leadership team as Chief Product and Marketing Officer. Jain is a graduate of IIT (BHU) Varanasi, an alumnus of the Stanford SEED Spark programme, and a former doctoral researcher at the IIT Bombay–Monash Research Academy. In his new role, he will oversee product strategy and consumer brand development across the combined platform.

Speaking on the transition, Jain said ForeignAdmits was established to eliminate barriers that prevent deserving students from accessing global education opportunities. He noted that joining Crizac provides the institutional scale, international reach, and counselling partner network needed to accelerate that mission and extend its impact to a larger student community.

ForeignAdmits, operated by Edument Consultancy Private Limited, has developed an AI-first student mobility platform offering infrastructure for university discovery, admissions, education financing, and visa preparation. The company's solutions have supported more than 100,000 students across over 15 countries, empowered more than 800 partner consultancies, facilitated education loans exceeding ₹1,500 crore, and assisted over 3,000 students with visa preparation services.

Headquartered in Kolkata and listed on both the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange, Crizac remains focused on technology-driven student success and ethical international student recruitment. With more than 400 institutional partnerships, an extensive global counsellor network, and the integration of ForeignAdmits' AI-powered technologies, the company is positioning itself to deliver a comprehensive end-to-end experience for students, from initial university exploration to the first day of academic life abroad. The investment underscores the growing role of artificial intelligence in reshaping international education services and highlights the increasing demand for integrated solutions that address every stage of the student mobility journey.
