Maharashtra Approves ₹115 Crore for Redevelopment of Three Major Pilgrimage Sites

According to the available details, ₹48.75 crore has been allocated for the redevelopment of the birthplace of Sant Janabai, ₹25 crore has been earmarked for the memorial site of Sant Gadge Baba, and ₹47.75 crore has been sanctioned for the development of a prominent pilgrimage site associated with the Mahanubhav religious tradition. The proposed works include the construction and improvement of roads, better sanitation systems, upgraded pilgrim facilities, and conservation measures aimed at preserving the historical and spiritual significance of the three locations.

Supporters have welcomed the reported decision, describing it as a development initiative that combines the preservation of religious heritage with modern infrastructure improvements.
