The reconstruction of the historic property began under the supervision of Rishi Kapoor. Following his death, Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt were frequently seen visiting the site to monitor the progress of the redevelopment. The completed structure features a sophisticated grey façade, while every floor is designed with expansive balconies decorated with ornamental metal railings and lush green plants, creating a seamless blend of luxury and nature.
Photographs shared from the residence highlight interiors that combine traditional Indian-inspired aesthetics with contemporary architectural elements. Speaking about her living arrangement with her son and daughter-in-law during an appearance on Soha Ali Khan's podcast, Neetu Kapoor explained that she consciously respects their independence despite residing in the same building.
"I feel once your children get married, you have to leave them alone. I live in the same building as my children, but I don't just go over whenever I want. I want to give them their space," she said.
She further stated that she does not want them to feel that she is constantly involved in their personal lives. "Their privacy is their privacy. I don't interfere. Even Raha comes to me whenever she is free; I don't go there unannounced," the 68-year-old actor added.
