Hanuman Ansh Crosses ₹451 Crore Worldwide, Beats Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju Collection
Hanuman Ansh, made on a budget of ₹2 crore, has reached ₹451.56 crore worldwide after 79 days in theatres. The film has also surpassed Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju in domestic net collections despite competition from major releases.
In September, Hanuman Ansh made a significant impact at the box office, with its daily earnings reportedly reaching ten times its production budget. Even after 50 days in theatres, the film continued to generate substantial revenue and successfully pushed its worldwide collection beyond ₹400 crore. However, its earnings suffered a considerable decline when October began, as Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3 affected its box office performance.
Tamil superstar Rajinikanth subsequently arrived with Jailer 2, drawing much of the audience’s attention towards his film. Despite the competition from Drishyam 3 and Jailer 2, Hanuman Ansh has continued to earn money, albeit at a slower pace. The film’s sustained performance has allowed it to maintain its presence at the box office despite the challenges posed by competing releases.
Hanuman Ansh Continues Its Run After 11 Weeks
Nearly 80 days after its theatrical release, Hanuman Ansh is still running at several locations across the country, including Delhi-NCR. Despite spending around 11 weeks in theatres, the film continues to receive a good number of screenings in various locations.
According to a report by Sacnilk, Hanuman Ansh had collected a total net amount of ₹341.26 crore at the domestic box office by its 79th day. Its worldwide gross collection had reached ₹451.56 crore during the same period.
After 11 weeks in cinemas, the film’s daily earnings have now dropped to lakhs of rupees. Nevertheless, it continues to surpass the lifetime box office collections of major Bollywood films.
On its 79th day, Hanuman Ansh surpassed the lifetime domestic net collection of Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Sanju. Released in 2017, Sanju had earned a total net collection of ₹341.22 crore. With its reported collection of ₹341.26 crore, Hanuman Ansh moved ahead of the film by ₹4 lakh.
Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh has continued to attract attention with its extended theatrical run and box office performance. Following the film’s success, Chaturvedi also announced a sequel, signalling the continuation of the franchise.
