Nestlé India Reports 47.9% Profit Surge in June Quarter, Announces ₹2 Per Share Special Dividend Alongside Final Dividend

Nestlé India reports a 47.9% rise in June quarter net profit to ₹975.1 crore as sales grow 25.4% to ₹6,363.3 crore. The FMCG major announces a ₹2 per share special dividend along with a ₹5 final dividend, with payouts starting from July 30, 2026, strengthening shareholder returns.

Nestlé India, one of the leading companies in the FMCG sector, has delivered a strong performance in the June quarter, recording significant growth in both sales and profitability. The company witnessed robust operational performance during the April-June period, supported by better cost management and volume-led growth. Along with improved financial results, the company has announced an additional special dividend, attracting strong attention from investors and shareholders.

The company reported a 47.9% year-on-year increase in net profit, which reached ₹975.1 crore during the June quarter. Nestlé India’s total sales increased by 25.4% to ₹6,363.3 crore, reflecting strong business momentum across key segments.

The company’s domestic sales recorded a growth of 25% during the quarter, while exports witnessed a significant rise of 35.6%. The company also maintained a strong operating performance, with its EBITDA margin standing at 24.2%, indicating improved profitability and operational efficiency.

The major focus for shareholders remains the company’s dividend announcement. Nestlé India has declared a special dividend of ₹2 per equity share with a face value of ₹1, in addition to the final dividend of ₹5 per share. This move will provide shareholders with an additional return along with the regular dividend payout.

According to the company, a total amount of ₹385.66 crore will be distributed under the special dividend. The payment will be made from retained earnings, which were transferred from the general reserve under a special accounting structure through a Scheme of Arrangement.

During the Annual General Meeting held on July 3, 2026, shareholders approved the final dividend of ₹5 per share. The total value of the final dividend stands at ₹964.16 crore. Nestlé India has confirmed that the payment process for both the special dividend and final dividend will begin from July 30, 2026.
