The incident occurred on June 19 in Maruti Colony, Chandlai, under the jurisdiction of Sanganer Police Station. On the same day, the victim's daughter, Sunena, approached the police station to file a case. However, according to her, the police only accepted a complaint and instructed her to return the following morning instead of immediately registering a case.
Sunena stated that the next morning her father visited the police station, where officials informed him that the senior officer was unavailable and advised him to return the following day for registration of the case. She further said that on June 21, her father again reached the police station accompanied by his daughters, after which the case was finally registered.

The victim, Anandi Lal Uchheniya, a retired BSNL employee, identified his elder son, Dhanpat Uchheniya, as the accused in the assault. A video of the entire incident has also surfaced, drawing widespread attention.
According to the complaint filed by the victim, his elder son resides in Chandlai village in Jaipur, while his younger son, Madhusudan, lives with him. On the night of June 19 at approximately 8:00 pm, Madhusudan arrived at the house, after which the assault began. Hearing the commotion, tenants living on the property rushed to the scene and intervened, forcing the accused to flee.
According to Sanganer Police Station, a case was registered immediately after receiving the elderly man's complaint, and the accused son was arrested. He was later granted bail by the court. Police stated that legal proceedings in the case are continuing in accordance with the law.
According to local residents, the father and son were living in the same house. An argument over a domestic dispute allegedly escalated into a violent confrontation.
The video of the assault has triggered widespread public outrage, with many demanding strict action against the accused. The victim has four daughters and two sons. His younger son is reported to have a mental disability. The disturbing incident has once again raised serious concerns over violence against elderly parents within their own homes and the challenges they face in seeking timely protection and justice.
