Maharashtra Government Surveys Schemes to Assess Impact and Improve Delivery

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reviews a statewide survey by Axis My India to assess government schemes, analyse beneficiary data, understand public feedback and identify implementation gaps for better delivery.

The Maharashtra government is conducting a survey to expand the reach of government schemes, assess their impact and identify improvements needed to make their implementation more effective. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said the exercise was essential to improving the delivery of government schemes and bringing qualitative changes to their functioning.

Axis My India, appointed by the Department of Information and Public Relations, is conducting the survey across schemes implemented by various government departments. A meeting was held at Sahyadri Guest House to review the progress and objectives of the exercise. Chief Minister Fadnavis discussed the survey's progress and its intended outcomes during the meeting. Minister Ashish Shelar participated through video conferencing.

The survey aims to examine how government schemes are functioning and assess their outcomes through an analysis of beneficiary-related data. According to Fadnavis, the findings will help identify areas where changes are required and determine measures to improve the implementation of schemes in the future.

Beneficiary Data to Be Analysed

Fadnavis said the survey would also help create an accurate database of beneficiaries. This would enable the government to understand public feedback on various schemes and identify obstacles preventing eligible beneficiaries from accessing the benefits intended for them.
