Karnataka Cabinet Clears ₹14 Crore ‘K Monitor’ Survey to Assess Congress Government Schemes
Karnataka’s Congress government has approved a ₹14 crore ‘K Monitor’ survey to assess flagship and guarantee schemes across all 224 Assembly constituencies. The two-phase exercise will gather public feedback on implementation and impact.
The survey aims to understand how government schemes are being implemented and how significantly they are affecting people. The feedback will help the government evaluate the functioning and effectiveness of its key programmes, including the guarantee schemes.
Under the plan, the survey will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase, feedback will be collected through a sample of one lakh people. The second phase will cover all Assembly constituencies across the state, with a sample of 60,000 people.
The government intends to gather opinions from different parts of Karnataka to assess how effectively its schemes are reaching people and how they are being implemented on the ground. The survey will also seek feedback on the guarantee schemes, which form part of the government’s flagship programmes.
With the Cabinet’s approval, the state government will move ahead with the two-phase survey process. The estimated cost of ₹14 crore will cover the exercise aimed at collecting public responses and evaluating the performance of major government initiatives.
The ‘K Monitor’ survey is intended to provide the Karnataka government with public feedback on the implementation and impact of its schemes across all 224 Assembly constituencies, helping it assess their effectiveness across the state.
