INSD Wins Two National Honours at Education Excellence Conclave 2026

International School of Design wins two honours at the National Education Excellence Conclave 2026 in New Delhi, recognising its design education legacy and INSD Aviation’s emergence in skill-based professional training.

The International School of Design (INSD) has received two national awards at the 15th National Education Excellence Conclave 2026, organised by the Centre for Education Growth and Research (CEGR) at Hotel Eros, New Delhi. The institution was recognised as “Best Design Institute in India 2026”, while its latest initiative, INSD Aviation, received the title “India’s Most Promising Aviation Academy 2026”.

The awards were presented at a ceremony attended by prominent representatives from the education, skilling and public policy sectors. Pranav Raaj Aggarwall, Group CEO of the International School of Design, received both honours on behalf of the institution.

Among the distinguished dignitaries present were Dr. Amit Dutta, Director of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE); Dr. Alka Gurjar, Honourable Member of Parliament, BJP; and Mr. Varun Tandan, CEO of the Water Management and Plumbing Skill Council, along with other eminent personalities from the education and skilling sectors.

The “Best Design Institute in India 2026” award recognises INSD’s contribution to design education and its continued emphasis on developing skilled, industry-ready creative professionals. Its educational model focuses on skill-first learning, industry-driven curricula, practical exposure, live projects, internships, portfolio development and career support.

The second honour, “India’s Most Promising Aviation Academy 2026”, recognises INSD Aviation, the latest initiative of the International School of Design. The initiative extends the institution’s skill-first education approach into aviation and allied service sectors, covering air hostess training, cabin crew for business class training, hospitality, travel, retail and customer support. Its focus is on preparing professionally trained, industry-ready talent for these rapidly growing industries.

The institution has established a network of more than 75 centres across 23 states and has trained over 30,000 students. Its career ecosystem comprises more than 500 industry recruiters and placement partners, with INSD reporting a successful placement track record for thousands of students.

INSD graduates have secured opportunities with organisations across design, fashion, interiors, jewellery, retail, technology and related creative industries. Its industry and placement ecosystem includes Lifestyle, Lenskart, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Asian Paints, Lakmé, Gaurav Gupta, Jaipur Rugs and other leading brands.

The institution provides career and placement support through practical training, live projects, internships, portfolio development and industry exposure. The highest salary package offered to INSD students has reached Rs. 18 lakhs per year, equivalent to Rs 1 lac 50 thousand per month, highlighting the career opportunities available to professionally trained creative talent.

Over its 15-year legacy, the International School of Design has evolved from a design education institution into one of India’s largest networks for skill-based creative education. Positioning itself as “India’s New Age Skill-School”, the institution has received several recognitions for its contribution to design education and skill development.

In 2023, INSD was recognised as the “Fastest Growing Design Institute in India”, with the award presented by Shri Yogendra Upadhyay, Honourable Minister of Higher Education, Uttar Pradesh. In 2025, the institution received recognition for “Excellence in Design Education” from the Times of India Group.
