Since purple and gold are the colours of the KKR jersey, Nayar’s hint appeared clear, with the video suggesting that he was indirectly proposing that Rohit join Kolkata Knight Riders.
Fans present during the show, however, began chanting “Mumbai, Mumbai” following Nayar’s apparent offer. Rohit Sharma’s response then drew attention. He said only one word, “Forever”.
