Prime Minister Narendra Modi hails UPI’s decade-long success, calling it a major turning point in India’s digital payments journey and urging citizens to share their experiences of the platform.

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the decade-long success of the Unified Payment Interface (UPI), describing it as a major turning point in India’s digital payments journey.

In a social media post, Mr Modi marked UPI’s decade-long journey and highlighted its scale and reach across the country. He called on countrymen to share their experiences of using UPI.

Mr Modi stated that the sheer scale and reach of UPI are something every Indian must be proud of, underscoring the significance of the digital payment platform’s decade-long success.

His remarks marked a reflection on UPI’s role in India’s digital payments journey and invited citizens to share their experiences of the platform.
