India’s Sub-Junior Men’s and Women’s Hockey Teams delivered outstanding performances at the FIH Youth Hockey5s Asian Championship in Muscat, Oman. The men defeated Oman and Pakistan, while the women drew against China and secured a massive victory over Uzbekistan during their Elite Pool campaign.
Led by Ketan Kushwaha, the Indian Sub-Junior Men’s Team registered a remarkable 14-0 victory over Oman. India continued its impressive run by defeating Pakistan 7-4 in a high-scoring encounter, where Karan Gautam produced a standout performance by completing a hat-trick.
The Indian Sub-Junior Women’s Team faced a competitive challenge against China, with the match ending in a 2-2 draw. However, India responded strongly in their next Elite Pool match, defeating Uzbekistan with a dominant 16-0 victory.
