Rajasthan Rainfall Update: Several Districts Receive Above Normal July Rainfall, Water Resources Department Releases Data

 Rajasthan rainfall update: The Water Resources Department has released July rainfall data showing above normal, normal, and below normal rainfall patterns across districts. Bikaner, Churu, Didwana-Kuchaman, and Salumber received higher rainfall, while several districts recorded less than normal rainfall during the monsoon period.

The Water Resources Department of Rajasthan has released the rainfall data recorded across the state during July so far, revealing varied rainfall patterns across different districts. Bikaner, Churu, Didwana-Kuchaman, and Salumber recorded rainfall above the normal level during the period.

The department data showed that Ajmer, Beawar, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Deeg, Dholpur, Sri Ganganagar, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Nagaur, Phalodi, Pratapgarh, Sikar, and Tonk received normal rainfall.

Meanwhile, districts including Alwar, Balotra, Banswara, Baran, Barmer, Bundi, Dausa, Dungarpur, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Jalore, Jodhpur, Karauli, Khairthal-Tijara, Kota, Kotputli-Behror, Pali, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sirohi, and Udaipur recorded below normal rainfall during July.

The department also released rainfall figures for the last 24 hours, during which light rainfall was recorded in several parts of Rajasthan. Kota Barrage received the highest rainfall with 43 millimeters, while Baswa in Dausa recorded 32 millimeters of rainfall. Karauli city received 25 millimeters of rainfall during the same period.

Rainfall activity was reported in Kota, Karauli, and Dausa districts, highlighting continued weather variation across the state. The official rainfall assessment released by the Water Resources Department provides a detailed picture of rainfall distribution across Rajasthan during the ongoing monsoon period.
