Unverified Claims of Air Force Activity and Missile Strikes Trigger Alarm in Quetta
Former RAW agent Lucky Bisht claims high alert by Pakistani Air Force and missile strikes in Quetta, triggering panic among locals. Reports remain unverified as no official confirmation or credible media sources have substantiated the alleged developments in Balochistan.
In a social media post on platform X, Bisht stated that the Pakistani Air Force has been placed on high alert, with helicopters and fighter jets reportedly seen hovering over Quetta. According to his claims, local residents described an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty as aerial activity intensified across the city.
Bisht further alleged that six missile projectiles directly struck multiple locations, including Meer Ahmad Road, Golimar Chowk, Akhtar Muhammad Road, Shanti Nagar, areas near Usmania Mosque on Fakir Muhammad Road, and Civil Hospital Road. He also claimed that incidents of firing were reported on Sariab Road. Citing what he described as local Baloch sources from a so-called Republic of Balochistan, Bisht asserted that the situation had spiraled out of control, with Pakistani forces allegedly in a state of panic and unable to manage the crisis.
Despite the gravity of these claims, there has been no official confirmation from Pakistani authorities or any credible international media organizations regarding missile strikes or extraordinary air force deployment in Quetta. The Balochistan region has historically remained sensitive due to ongoing security challenges and military operations, but the scale and nature of the incidents described in the post remain unverified.
Until formal statements or corroborated reports emerge from government agencies or established news platforms, these assertions cannot be considered confirmed. The situation underscores the volatility of information in conflict-prone regions and highlights the need for verified reporting amid escalating narratives.
