Young Pakistan cricketer Hasan Nawaz has come under intense scrutiny after a controversial statement about Indian bowlers surfaced and quickly went viral on social media. The remarks were made during an off-field interview in which the batter discussed the heightened intensity of matches against India and his aggressive approach at the crease.

Speaking about his mindset while facing the India national cricket team, Nawaz acknowledged the additional pressure and motivation that comes with the fixture. However, he went on to make a statement that triggered widespread criticism, saying that he “hates all their bowlers” and expressing his intent to attack them whenever given the opportunity.

The clip gained rapid traction online, with users widely debating the tone and nature of his comments. Nawaz made these remarks while representing the Pakistan Super League franchise Quetta Gladiators, who are currently placed second-last on the points table.

In his limited international experience against India, Hasan Nawaz has faced the team only once, during the Asia Cup 2025 final. Batting in the middle order, he scored five runs off seven deliveries before being dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav. Pakistan went on to lose the match despite holding an early advantage in the second innings, marking another defeat against India and their third consecutive loss to the arch-rivals in the format.
