Annabel Sutherland Retains Top Spot as ICC Women’s T20I Bowling Rankings Updated

The ICC Women’s T20I Bowling Rankings updated on 7 December 2025 place Australia’s Annabel Sutherland at No. 1, followed closely by India’s Deepti Sharma and Pakistan’s Sadia Iqbal. The reshuffled top 10 reflects strong global competition, with key movements from England, South Africa, West Indies, and Pakistan.

The latest ICC Women’s T20I bowling rankings, released on 7 December 2025, brought a fresh wave of movement across the top 10, with Australia’s Annabel Sutherland holding firmly to her No. 1 position. Her consistent performances this season have kept her ahead of a tightly packed leaderboard, reflecting the growing competitiveness in women’s international cricket.

Sutherland continues to lead the rankings with 736 rating points, matching her career-best mark achieved earlier this year against New Zealand in Wellington. Close on her heels sits India’s Deepti Sharma, who remains one of the format’s most reliable all-round bowlers. Sharma is ranked second with 732 points, though her career-best peak remains higher at 759, reached against Bangladesh in Dambulla in 2024.

Sharing the second position is Pakistan’s Sadia Iqbal, also on 732 points. Iqbal, known for her precision and control, previously achieved a career-high 758 rating against Sri Lanka at Sharjah in 2024. England’s premier spinner Sophie Ecclestone, once the dominant force at the summit, now holds the fourth spot with 727 points, a notable distance from her career-best 802, attained against Australia at Edgbaston in 2023.

England’s rise continues with Lauren Bell, who maintains her place in the fifth position with 714 points, following a strong 2025 season highlighted by her career-best 741 against India at Bristol. South Africa’s Nonkululeko Mlaba follows in sixth with 705 points, her best form having come in 2023 when she reached 771 against New Zealand at Paarl.
