The ICC Women’s ODI Bowling Rankings updated on 2 November 2025 see England’s Sophie Ecclestone retain the top spot, followed by South Africa’s Marizanne Kapp and Australia’s Alana King. The latest list highlights dominant performances, rising stars, and key career-best milestones shaping the global women’s cricket landscape.
Ecclestone, who has been a dominant force across formats, leads the rankings with 747 rating points. Her career-best performance remains the 802 points she achieved against New Zealand in Worcester in 2024, a benchmark that has defined her stature as one of England’s most influential match-winners. South Africa’s Marizanne Kapp follows at No. 2 with 712 points, backed by a career-high 749 rating secured against West Indies at Antigua in 2021.
Australia continues to showcase remarkable bowling depth, occupying several key positions in the top 10. Alana King sits at No. 3 with 695 points, just shy of her peak rating of 698 earned against South Africa earlier this year at Indore. Ashleigh Gardner, another pillar of Australia’s attack, holds the fourth spot with 675 points, having reached a formidable 740 rating during the Melbourne clash against England in 2025. India’s Deepti Sharma stands firmly in fifth place with 657 points, her best rating of 704 recorded against New Zealand at Ahmedabad in 2024, reaffirming her consistency as India’s leading spinner.
Annabel Sutherland (650 points) and Kim Garth (646 points) extend Australia’s strong presence at No. 6 and No. 7 respectively, each maintaining career-best achievements from significant outings earlier in 2025. West Indies captain Hayley Matthews occupies the eighth position with 634 points, after having previously touched 671 during her standout performance against New Zealand in Antigua in 2022.
Australian veteran Megan Schutt, known for her long-standing excellence with the new ball, ranks ninth with 633 points. Her career-best rating of 766, attained against West Indies in Antigua in 2019, remains one of the highest benchmarks in recent ODI history. Pakistan’s Nashra Sundhu completes the top 10 with 610 points, supported by the 632 rating she delivered against England at Colombo (RPS) earlier this year.
The updated rankings underscore a dynamic competitive landscape in women’s cricket, marked by evolving skill sets, diversified bowling arsenals, and widespread international impact. As teams continue to recalibrate their strategies ahead of a packed cricketing calendar, these standings offer a clear snapshot of the bowlers shaping the sport’s current era—and the ones poised to influence its future.
