Healthy Citizens Are Key to Building a Developed India, Says UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stresses that a healthy population is essential to achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a “Developed India.” Speaking in Lucknow, he urged citizens to prioritize well-being and actively participate in government health schemes to accelerate national progress.
Adityanath highlighted the government’s focus on strengthening healthcare delivery and expanding welfare schemes aimed at improving access to medical services. He urged residents to make full use of public health initiatives, noting that preventive care and awareness play a vital role in reducing disease burden and promoting overall societal well-being. A healthy population, he said, forms the backbone of sustainable development and economic stability.
Reiterating that social and economic advancement depend heavily on the collective health of the population, the Chief Minister appealed to people across the state to adopt healthier lifestyles and remain vigilant about their physical well-being. He stressed that an informed and health-conscious society is essential for India to move confidently toward its long-term developmental aspirations.
