Australia’s Ashleigh Gardner Retains Top Spot in Latest Women’s ODI All-Rounder Rankings
The ICC Women’s ODI all-rounder rankings, updated on 2 November 2025, see Australia’s Ashleigh Gardner retain the No. 1 spot, followed by Marizanne Kapp and Hayley Matthews. Deepti Sharma and Annabel Sutherland climb the table as several top players record significant rating movements.
South Africa’s Marizanne Kapp maintains her grip on the second spot with 441 points, backed by her peak rating of 463 earned against England in Guwahati in 2025. West Indies captain Hayley Matthews stays close behind at No. 3, registering 420 points after reaching a personal best of 448 against England at Derby earlier this year.
India’s Deepti Sharma climbs to fourth place, moving up one position to regain ground with 392 points. Although her career-best rating of 402 came against New Zealand in Hamilton back in 2019, her consistent recent form keeps her firmly among the world’s elite. Australia’s Annabel Sutherland, also rising one place, holds the fifth position with 388 points, close to her peak rating of 394 earned against South Africa in Indore this year.
New Zealand’s Amelia Kerr sits sixth with 332 points, while England’s Nat Sciver-Brunt, once a dominant all-rounder at her peak of 421 against Australia at Taunton in 2023, now occupies the seventh spot with 280. New Zealand veteran Sophie Devine follows closely in eighth place with 279 points, reflecting her earlier career-high of 306 achieved against Australia in Brisbane in 2020.
Sri Lankan skipper Chamari Athapaththu stands ninth at 269, buoyed by a strong run that included her best rating of 298 against India at Colombo (RPS) in 2025. South Africa’s Nadine de Klerk rounds off the top ten after moving up two spots to reach 262 points, nearing her career-best of 267 reached against England in Guwahati earlier this year.
The revised rankings highlight shifting momentum within women’s cricket, underscoring the heightened competition among top-tier all-rounders as teams continue to push for dominance on the global stage. With several players in close contention, the battle for supremacy promises to remain tightly contested in the months ahead.
