Rare Alvaro Bautista-Signed Ducati Panigale V4 Set for High-Profile Auction in Early 2026

A rare Alvaro Bautista-signed Ducati Panigale V4, number 75 of only 260 units, is set for auction at Race Retro 2026. Equipped with premium performance upgrades and factory track accessories, the limited-edition superbike is expected to fetch £35,000–£45,000, drawing strong interest from collectors and racing enthusiasts.

A coveted piece of modern superbike history is gearing up for the auction spotlight as a limited-edition Ducati Panigale V4, personally signed by Spanish WorldSBK champion Alvaro Bautista, heads to the block early next year. The collector motorcycle, produced in 2022 in a run of just 260 units, represents number 75 in the series and commemorates Bautista’s first World Superbike title with Ducati—an achievement that cemented his dominance in the sport.

Far more than a celebratory paint-liveried machine, this special edition is built on the 2023 Panigale V4 S platform and is equipped with an array of high-performance upgrades. Ducati fitted the bike with a race-focused seat, a dry clutch, Akrapovič exhaust system, carbon-fibre exhaust cover and mudguards, Brembo braking components, and fully adjustable Rizoma billet footpegs. Together, these enhancements underscore the model’s dual character as both a tribute collector’s item and a serious track-capable superbike.

Iconic Auctioneers, which is overseeing the sale, has confirmed that the motorcycle will be delivered with a suite of factory-supplied track accessories. These include an open carbon clutch cover, a kit for removing the number plate and mirrors, and a racing-style fuel tank cap—features that appeal strongly to performance enthusiasts and collectors seeking authenticity and completeness.

The motorcycle will be offered during The Iconic Sale at Race Retro 2026 – Motorcycles, scheduled for February 2026. Reflecting its rarity, provenance, and factory upgrades, auction estimates place the expected selling price between £35,000 (approximately ₹42 lakh) and £45,000 (around ₹53 lakh). For collectors of championship memorabilia and limited-production superbikes, the sale marks a significant opportunity to acquire one of Ducati’s most exclusive modern-era machines.
