Commenting on the results, Anil Kumar Puttan, Chairman and Managing Director of Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Limited, said the financial year was progressing on an encouraging note, with Q2 recording strong momentum across the company's core business lines.

He said revenue for H1 FY27 reached Rs. 2,306 million, representing 85% year-on-year growth, supported by demand, execution and early returns from strategic growth initiatives. He also highlighted the company's consolidated order book of Rs. 8,546 million, describing it as a foundation for its financial and operational position.

Puttan said the company's business model was gaining greater visibility as long-term supply agreements and award programmes with leading global aerospace original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) were helping Unimech transition from short-cycle tooling to recurring, high-volume flying-part manufacturing.

In the semiconductor segment, he said a dedicated 20-month development pipeline with a global OEM major had generated commercial revenue during H1 FY27, with a significant increase anticipated in H2. He added that parts prove-out activities were progressing at full pace and that the scaling of serial production over the coming quarters was expected to create a multi-year revenue opportunity.

The Chairman and Managing Director also outlined the company's infrastructure expansion plans, stating that building capacity ahead of demand remained central to its growth strategy. Installation of an automated special-process cell is underway, while the company's expansion into the Middle East through a joint venture in Saudi Arabia is intended to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and global presence.

He said these initiatives would provide the floor space, technical capabilities and international presence required by leading OEMs. The company would continue to focus on disciplined execution, prudent capital allocation and sustainable, high-margin growth.
