Sony India has introduced 16 BRAVIA Professional Displays across three series, featuring AI-powered XR processing, anti-glare technology and energy-efficient features. The new 4K HDR lineup starts at Rs. 1.40 lakh.

Sony India has launched its new BRAVIA Professional Displays BZ-P Series, introducing 16 models designed for corporate offices, educational institutions, retail outlets, transportation facilities and public sector environments. Available in screen sizes ranging from 43 inches to 85 inches, the new 4K HDR lineup combines Deep Black Non-Glare technology, AI-powered XR processing and integrated professional software features.

The new portfolio comprises three product categories: the flagship BZ40P Series, the enhanced BZ35P Series and the core BZ30P Series. The displays feature a redesigned thin and lightweight form factor, improved installation flexibility, enhanced operability and reduced power consumption, bringing together hardware and software capabilities for commercial applications.

Commenting on the launch, Sunil Nayyar, Managing Director, Sony India, said India's professional display market was witnessing strong momentum, driven by the rapid expansion of digital infrastructure across enterprises, retail, education, transportation and public sector environments.

He said, "With the launch of the new BRAVIA Professional Displays BZ-P Series, Sony continues to strengthen its commitment to delivering industry-leading display solutions that combine exceptional picture quality, operational efficiency, reliability and sustainability. Featuring our advanced Deep Black Non-Glare technology, AI-powered XR processing, integrated System-on-Chip architecture and energy-efficient design, the new lineup is designed to deliver superior visibility and seamless performance even in demanding commercial environments. A key feature is Sony's Deep Black Non-Glare technology, which is available in Premium and Standard variants. The flagship models offer up to 47% anti-glare performance, while the enhanced and core models provide 25%. The technology is designed to minimise reflections and glare while maintaining deep contrast and vivid image quality. Combined with wide viewing angles, it aims to maintain visual clarity in brightly lit spaces and environments exposed to direct light.

Sony has also redesigned the displays to simplify installation and integration across commercial locations. The thin and lightweight construction incorporates a universal chassis and narrow bezels, supporting portrait installations and videowall configurations.

Centre-positioned VESA mounting holes are intended to make installation easier, while integrated in-chassis handles on the 75-inch and 85-inch models facilitate transportation and deployment. These design changes are aimed at giving businesses and system integrators greater flexibility when installing displays across different environments.

For content management and daily operations, the BZ-P Series incorporates an integrated System-on-Chip (SoC) architecture. This eliminates the need for an additional set-top box for digital signage applications, allowing for a cleaner installation. Sony has also introduced a new user interface and setup programme to simplify deployment and management.

The company said it conducts extensive compatibility testing with leading CMS solution providers worldwide to support integration with customers' preferred digital signage and content management platforms.

Reliability is another focus of the new series. Select models in the BZ40P and BZ35P ranges feature IP5X-compliant dust resistance, making them suitable for applications in transportation facilities, retail environments, industrial facilities and warehouses.

According to Sony, the displays have been engineered to maintain consistent performance and durability during continuous operation, helping businesses manage uptime and operational efficiency.

The BZ-P Series also incorporates energy-efficiency features, including a new high-efficiency optical system and XR processor-based AI backlight control. Sony claims the new displays consume up to 31% less power compared with the previous BZ-L Series, potentially helping organisations reduce operating costs while supporting their sustainability objectives.

The lineup is Energy Star certified, while EPEAT certification is pending. Sony has also increased the use of its proprietary SORPLAS™ recycled plastic material to as much as 43% in select models as part of its efforts to reduce environmental impact and advance its long-term sustainability goals.

An integrated ECO Dashboard allows users to monitor energy consumption, adjust settings and understand the environmental impact of display usage. The feature is intended to help organisations manage energy use and reduce the total cost of ownership.

The flagship BZ40P Series consists of four models with screen sizes ranging from 55 inches to 85 inches. It features Deep Black Non-Glare Premium technology with up to 47% anti-glare performance, 700 nits brightness and IP5X-compliant dust resistance. The series is designed for professional applications requiring higher brightness and enhanced visibility.

Its models are FW-85BZ40P, FW-75BZ40P, FW-65BZ40P and FW-55BZ40P.

The BZ35P Series comprises six models ranging from 43 inches to 85 inches. Equipped with Deep Black Non-Glare Standard technology, the series offers 25% anti-glare performance, 500 nits brightness and IP5X-compliant dust resistance. The six models are FW-85BZ35P, FW-75BZ35P, FW-65BZ35P, FW-55BZ35P, FW-50BZ35P and FW-43BZ35P.
