Delhi Metro Warns Social Media Users Against Risky Reels on Moving Trains

DMRC has warned social media users against pasting mobile phones on moving Metro train windows to shoot reels, saying the trend could cause injury, inconvenience passengers and damage devices.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has warned social media users against making reels by pasting mobile phones on the windows of moving metro trains, saying such acts could cause inconvenience or injury to passengers and damage the devices.

The warning comes after several reels surfaced showing influencers and social media users making videos by gluing their phones to the windows of moving metro trains. While some users joined the trend, others raised concerns over the safety risks involved.

DMRC said it has noticed that some social media content creators are pasting their mobile phones on Metro train windows and shooting videos while the train is moving. The corporation said such activities can cause inconvenience or even injury to other passengers and can also damage the mobile phone devices of the users.
