Supriya Sule Announces Voice Rest Ahead of Monsoon Session Amid Throat Swelling Diagnosis

Supriya Sule announces voice rest before the Monsoon Session after Mumbai ENT surgeon Dr. Milind Kirtane diagnoses slight throat swelling and advises avoiding speeches, interviews, and prolonged talking. The NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) leader receives support while online discussions focus on the timing of the announcement.

NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) faction Working President and Baramati MP Supriya Sule has announced a period of voice rest ahead of the upcoming Monsoon Session after consulting Mumbai ENT surgeon Dr. Milind Kirtane, who diagnosed slight throat swelling and advised her to avoid speeches, interviews, and prolonged talking for one to two weeks.

Sule shared the medical update on X early Saturday, stating that she has been advised to follow voice therapy along with restrictions on vocal activity. The recommendation comes shortly before the Monsoon Session is scheduled to begin on July 20 or 21.

Following the announcement, Sule received messages of support and recovery wishes from several public figures, including BJP supporter Sameet Thakkar and Congress MP Tariq Anwar.

The update also triggered discussions across online platforms, with several replies questioning the timing of her voice rest announcement ahead of the session. Some users suggested that written statements could be used as an alternative during the period, while others raised speculation regarding possible political motives behind the development.
