Bank of India Opens New Branch at Shikhar Mor in Gaya’s Manpur, Strengthens Rural Banking Footprint
Bank of India inaugurated a new branch at Shikhar Mor in Manpur block of Gaya district, expanding its rural banking network. The branch was opened by senior officials including FGM S. B. Sahani, offering enhanced access to banking services such as deposits, withdrawals, and loans for local residents under the bank’s 120th establishment year expansion drive.
The new branch was jointly inaugurated by Field General Manager (FGM) S. B. Sahani, Zonal Manager Abhay Kumar Jha, and Branch Manager Pawan Kumar. Senior bank officials and local residents were present during the opening ceremony, witnessing the launch of enhanced banking services for the region.
According to officials, this newly opened branch is the 57th branch in the Gaya zone and the 15th branch within Gaya district. The expansion comes as part of Bank of India’s 120th year of establishment, reflecting the institution’s continued efforts to broaden its reach across both rural and semi-urban areas.
Bank officials stated that the new branch will significantly benefit residents of Manpur and surrounding areas by reducing the need to travel long distances for banking services. Customers will now have easier access to deposits, withdrawals, loan services, and other modern banking facilities directly within their locality.
During the event, officials emphasized that Bank of India is consistently expanding its network to ensure wider financial inclusion and improved access to banking infrastructure. The opening of the Shikhar Mor branch is expected to strengthen financial connectivity and support the growing economic needs of the local population.
