VinFast Signs MOUs With 29 Aftersales Partners to Accelerate Global EV Service Expansion
VinFast has signed MOUs with 29 aftersales partners during its 2026 Global Business Conference, expanding its worldwide EV service network. The company plans to operate more than 1,100 service workshops and over 1.5 million charging ports globally, reinforcing its commitment to customer support and accelerating the global transition to electric mobility.
The conference, organized by VinFast from May 4 to May 10, 2026, brought together more than 200 investors and partners from North America, Europe, the Middle East, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Kazakhstan. The gathering represented the first time that existing and prospective partners from these international markets convened under one platform, highlighting a significant milestone in VinFast’s efforts to strengthen its worldwide aftersales and customer support network.
In India, Mr. Tapan Ghosh, Chief Executive Officer of VinFast India, signed one of the agreements with aftersales partners, reinforcing the company’s commitment to establishing a robust support infrastructure in the country.
Under the agreements, international partners are expected to establish electric vehicle service workshops that comply with VinFast’s global standards in their respective markets. VinFast will maintain consistent service quality through globally standardized technician training and certification programs, uniform operating procedures, stringent quality control systems, and an integrated parts supply network designed to deliver commonly required spare parts within 24 hours in key markets.
The newly signed agreements form part of VinFast’s long-term plan to create a complete electric vehicle ecosystem aligned with international standards. This ecosystem includes aftersales services, charging infrastructure, and customer support, and is expected to accelerate the transition to electric mobility while ensuring customers receive reliable assistance throughout the entire ownership lifecycle.
VinFast’s international expansion strategy is built upon the operational capabilities it has already established in Vietnam. By the end of 2025, the company had developed nearly 400 service workshops across Vietnam, bringing its total global service network to nearly 800 facilities.
Building on this foundation, VinFast plans to expand its global network to more than 1,100 service workshops in 2026 across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The network will be deployed through multiple business models, including dealerships serving retail customers, fleet and transportation operators, and independent local workshop partners.
Alongside network expansion, VinFast is implementing several customer support initiatives. These include repair time commitments in Vietnam, replacement vehicle assistance in international markets, battery inspections, software updates, and technical support throughout the ownership experience.
As part of the conference, international partners visited VinFast’s manufacturing complex and the broader Vingroup ecosystem to gain deeper insight into the company’s production capabilities, operational scale, and long-term global growth strategy.
Mr. Bui Viet Hung, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Global Aftersales at VinFast, said the company’s objective extends beyond expanding its network. He stated that VinFast aims to build a customer-centric aftersales ecosystem that delivers an exceptional experience worldwide. According to him, by partnering with experienced local operators and applying VinFast’s global standards, the company intends to provide responsive, reliable, and high-quality aftersales services while bringing Vietnam’s five-star service culture and spirit of dedication to customers around the world. He described this as VinFast’s enduring commitment to supporting the global transition to electric mobility.
In addition to expanding aftersales operations, VinFast continues to develop an integrated electric vehicle ecosystem encompassing products, services, and charging infrastructure. The company is working with strategic partners such as V-Green and local charging operators to build a network of more than 1.5 million charging ports worldwide. This ambitious initiative is expected to significantly improve access to charging infrastructure and provide a seamless and convenient ownership experience for customers across international markets.
VinFast, listed on NASDAQ: VFS and operating as a subsidiary of Vingroup, is a pure-play electric vehicle manufacturer focused on making electric mobility accessible to all. Its product portfolio includes electric sport utility vehicles, electric motorcycles, electric bicycles, and electric buses. With rapid expansion of its dealer and distribution network and continued strengthening of manufacturing capabilities, VinFast is positioning itself as a major global player in the electric mobility sector, with strategic emphasis on North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
The signing of these 29 international partnerships underscores VinFast’s determination to create one of the world’s most extensive electric vehicle support ecosystems, combining aftersales excellence, charging accessibility, and customer-focused innovation to accelerate the adoption of sustainable transportation worldwide.
