The Mumbai Police has registered a First Information Report against Peter Haag, the husband of Celina Jaitley. A Look Out Circular has also been issued against him. He has reportedly been charged under multiple provisions, including cruelty, harassment, physical assault, and criminal intimidation. The case continues to remain under investigation.
In recent statements shared on her Instagram account, Celina Jaitley expressed that she has been unable to meet her sons. She stated that despite a court order, she has no contact with her children. Sharing a photograph from the previous year with her sons, she described her emotional distress, claiming that her children have been moved to an undisclosed location. She further stated that she sends them message-like letters daily but has been blocked from contacting them via phone and messaging applications.
Celina Jaitley also alleged that despite an undertaking made before a court in Austria, legal provisions in Austria are being manipulated by her husband to prevent contact between her and her children. She has been vocal about her inability to maintain communication with them amid the ongoing dispute.
In November 2025, Celina Jaitley filed a case against Peter Haag, accusing him of domestic violence, cruelty, and manipulation. She has sought compensation of ₹50 crore along with additional reliefs. The matter remains under judicial consideration.
Celina Jaitley has been absent from the film industry for over a decade, with her last leading role being in the 2011 romantic comedy film Thank You.
