Keeway India Unveils 2026 V302C Cruiser with New Colour Option, Retains Mechanical Setup
Keeway India launches the 2026 V302C cruiser at Rs 4.22 lakh with a new yellow colour option. The motorcycle retains its 298 cc V-twin engine, belt drive system, and neo-retro design, marking a pricing adjustment closer to pre-GST levels while maintaining its established mechanical platform.
The most notable update for the 2026 model year is the introduction of a new yellow colour option. This addition expands the existing palette, which already includes red and black finishes, offering greater personalization choices for prospective buyers. Despite this visual enhancement, the motorcycle continues to carry its signature low-slung, neo-retro cruiser design that has defined its identity since its debut in the Indian market.
Mechanically, the V302C remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 298 cc, liquid-cooled, V-twin engine paired with a belt-driven transmission, a configuration that distinguishes it within its category. The engine produces a peak output of 29.5 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 26.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, delivering consistent performance characteristics.
The chassis setup retains a conventional telescopic front fork along with twin rear shock absorbers. Braking duties are handled by a 300 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear, supported by a dual-channel anti-lock braking system. The motorcycle is equipped with cast alloy wheels and features a 15-litre fuel tank, complemented by a low seat height designed to enhance rider comfort and accessibility.
In terms of pricing, the 2026 Keeway V302C reflects a recalibration closer to its pre-Goods and Services Tax levels. The model was previously listed at Rs 4.29 lakh before undergoing a temporary reduction to Rs 3.99 lakh following the transfer of certain tax benefits to customers.
The introduction of the updated V302C underscores Keeway India's focus on sustaining its presence in the cruiser segment by balancing aesthetic updates with proven mechanical reliability, while aligning pricing strategies with market expectations.
