Monday, October 12, proved to be the film’s weakest day at the box office so far, with a net collection of just ₹6 crore. By the end of 11 days, its worldwide earnings were only ₹1 crore short of the ₹500 crore mark. The shortfall was covered on the 12th day, when lower ticket prices on Tuesday helped the film register a noticeable jump in collections.
According to a Sacnilk report, Drishyam 3 earned ₹8.50 crore net on its 12th day. Its total domestic net box office collection has now reached ₹323.50 crore. Compared with Monday, the film recorded a 36% jump in earnings on Tuesday, offering a positive sign for its box office performance.
With three days still remaining in its current run before the next major wave of releases, the film has an opportunity to move closer to the ₹350 crore net collection milestone. However, whether it can cross that mark will depend on its performance over the coming days.
Can Drishyam 3 Cross ₹350 Crore?
The coming week could prove challenging for Drishyam 3, as four to five major films are set to release in cinemas. Films such as Jailer 2, Prahaar, Nayi Naveli, Ranbali and Street Fighter have already generated buzz ahead of their releases.
The arrival of these films could put pressure on Drishyam 3’s box office collections. However, if the new releases fail to receive a favourable final word of mouth, Ajay Devgn’s suspense thriller could continue attracting audiences and add further revenue to its total.
Drishyam 3 is directed by Abhishek Pathak. The film features Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj, Shriya Saran, Tabu, Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Kamlesh Sawant, alongside Ajay Devgn.
With its domestic net collection standing at ₹323.50 crore after 12 days, Drishyam 3 is now approaching the ₹350 crore milestone. Its performance in the remaining days before competing releases arrive will determine how close it gets to the target.
