Finnable Partners with Flipkart Finance to Expand Pay Later Credit Across India

Finnable has joined Flipkart Finance as a co-lending partner for Flipkart Pay Later, bringing credit of up to Rs 1 Lakh to shoppers on Flipkart, Myntra and Flipkart Minutes, with flexible repayment options and faster approvals.

Finnable has partnered with Flipkart Finance as a co-lending partner for Flipkart Pay Later, expanding access to digital consumer credit across Flipkart, Myntra and Flipkart Minutes. The partnership brings Finnable’s underwriting experience in assessing new-to-credit and thin-file customers into the Flipkart ecosystem, aiming to extend credit access to a wider range of Indian shoppers.

The collaboration integrates consumer credit into the shopping experience across the three platforms, strengthening their digital credit infrastructure. Customers can use the facility while shopping for clothing on Myntra, purchasing essentials through Flipkart Minutes or buying technology products on Flipkart, with credit options designed to help them split payments and manage their budgets.

Eligible customers can access credit of up to Rs 1 Lakh through the programme, which is already live across India and has recorded strong early uptake since its launch.

The programme offers three repayment options to accommodate different purchasing requirements. Short-term credit can be repaid within up to 30 days, while the Pay in 3 option divides the purchase cost into three payments. Customers making higher-value purchases, including mobiles, electronics and appliances, can opt for equated monthly instalment (EMI) plans ranging from 3 to 12 months.

The entire credit application and checkout journey takes place within the app, with eligible customers receiving approval within seconds. By bringing underwriting capabilities focused on new-to-credit and thin-file customers into the shopping ecosystem, the partnership seeks to extend formal credit to consumers across different segments.

Amit Arora, Co-Founder of Finnable, said the next wave of Indian consumers would increasingly access credit through the platforms where they already shop rather than through traditional bank branches.

“India's next wave of consumers will meet credit where they already shop, not at a traditional bank branch,” Arora said. “With Flipkart Finance and Flipkart platforms, we're bringing formal credit to customers across segments with the exact simplicity they expect in their shopping experience.”

Finnable is a technology-led lending start-up focused on making credit simple, fast and accessible. Founded by Nitin Gupta and Amit Arora, the company offers personal loans, Loans Against Property (LAP) and consumer finance. Its lending approach combines data-driven underwriting with a customer-first approach. Its websites are finnable.com/personal-loan/ and finnable.credit.

Finnable Credit Private Limited and Flipkart Finance Private Limited are RBI-registered non-banking financial companies (NBFCs). Under the applicable regulatory framework, loans are jointly originated under the RBI-specified digital and co-lending framework, while Flipkart platforms facilitate the digital customer journey.

All loans remain subject to eligibility requirements, documentation and credit assessment. Applicable charges are detailed in the Key Fact Statement.

The partnership brings co-lending and consumer credit options directly into the shopping journey across Flipkart, Myntra and Flipkart Minutes, with Finnable’s underwriting experience supporting the programme’s focus on extending access to customers who may have limited credit histories.
