CCTV Captures Alleged Sexual Harassment Incident Inside Bus in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar, Accused Detained
A CCTV video from Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, allegedly showing a man sexually harassing two women inside a passenger bus has gone viral. The accused was detained by Deori Police after the footage surfaced, while no FIR has been registered due to the absence of a formal complaint. The incident sparked outrage and renewed discussions on women's safety.
According to reports, the accused stood extremely close to the woman, unzipped his trousers, and allegedly attempted to expose himself despite the presence of other passengers inside the bus. Reports further stated that he attempted to touch the woman's shoulder with his private parts before she confronted him.
The CCTV footage, which has since been widely circulated online, shows the woman immediately confronting the accused and slapping him. Following the confrontation, the accused quickly stepped off the bus and fled from the spot, leaving passengers shocked by the incident.
After the video gained widespread attention, Deori Police identified and detained the accused. However, no First Information Report has been registered so far, as no formal complaint has been submitted by the alleged victims.
