Sonam Wangchuk's Health Deteriorates on 16th Day of Hunger Strike Demanding Exam Reforms

Ladakhi reformer Sonam Wangchuk's health worsens on the 16th day of his hunger strike demanding examination reforms, accountability over NEET and JEE paper leaks, and action from the government. Supporters prepare for a July 20 march to Parliament as concerns grow over his declining condition and official response.

Ladakhi reformer Sonam Wangchuk's health condition has worsened on the 16th day of his hunger strike demanding reforms in the examination system and greater accountability over alleged paper leaks in NEET and JEE examinations.

The 59-year-old reformer joined the Cockroach Janta Party's 24-day protest against examination paper leaks and demanded the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan along with stronger accountability measures.

Doctors monitoring Wangchuk's condition reported his blood pressure at 104/66 mm Hg and stated that he has been experiencing extreme weakness since beginning the hunger strike on June 28. The protest began after the group issued a deadline to the government over their demands.

Supporters, including AAP MP Sanjay Singh, have called for immediate action and expressed support for the movement ahead of the planned July 20 march to Parliament.
