The support boosted his business, with products now frequently selling out and bulk online orders being accepted.
Mansukh Kaka had been attracting attention in recent days for his determination to continue working despite his advanced age. Selling savory food items from a table set up on the roadside, he spent nearly 12 hours every day trying to support his family. Despite the long working hours, his earnings often remained limited to around Rs 300 a day, and on many occasions, he was unable to sell all of his products.
The situation came to public attention after Aradhana Chatterjee shared a video describing the elderly vendor's struggle. The video explained how Mansukh Kaka continued to shoulder family responsibilities while operating his roadside stall. Bank details were also provided along with the appeal, urging viewers to extend financial assistance.

The appeal received an overwhelming response from people across social media. Contributions amounting to Rs 400,000 were collected for Mansukh Kaka. In a follow-up video, Aradhana informed viewers about the support received and handed over a cheque to the elderly businessman, stating that his venture was now witnessing significant growth.
Following the widespread attention generated by the viral video, Mansukh Kaka's business has expanded considerably. According to Aradhana, there are now days when his entire stock gets sold out. Her team had planned to purchase his products for distribution among people in need, but by the time they arrived, everything had already been sold.
Aradhana also revealed in the video that Mansukh Kaka has started accepting online orders. However, orders are currently being accepted only in bulk quantities, and interested buyers are required to coordinate through Aradhana.
