Redmi is set to introduce its first-ever Turbo series smartphone in the Indian market with the launch of the Redmi Turbo 5 on June 16. Ahead of the official unveiling, the Xiaomi sub-brand has disclosed several key specifications of the upcoming device, highlighting its camera capabilities, display technology and fast-charging features.

According to details revealed through the official product microsite, the Redmi Turbo 5 will feature a dual rear camera setup similar to the variant already available in China. The smartphone will be equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera supported by both Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS), aimed at delivering enhanced photography and steadier video recording performance.

The primary sensor will be accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, while a 20-megapixel front-facing camera housed within a centrally positioned hole-punch cutout will handle selfies and video calls.

On the display front, Redmi has confirmed that the Turbo 5 will feature a flat 1.5K Fluid Display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, offering smoother visuals and a more responsive user experience. The smartphone will also support 100W wired fast charging, enabling rapid battery replenishment.
